Don't get over-excited. Our 'photo quiz' is not a competition. We can't afford a prize!

Every picture tells a story - or so they say - and, each month, we'll try to find one which has you scratching your head. We'll ask who, what, where or when, and include the answer as part of the next update.

This month's picture...
This is one of only two sites on our network to have an Automatic Track Warning System 'semi' permanently installed. Where is it? You've got a 50-50 chance!

Come back next month for another question...and to find out if you were right this time!

The answer to last month's quiz...

Early in the 20th Century, a Victorian entrepreneur decided to develop a town around the east coast village of Peak which was at the midpoint of the Scarborough-Whitby railway.

Although roads were built and land sold to city folk who liked the idea of living by the sea, the area is exposed and often inhospitable. As a result, the plan soon hit the rocks.

The building company folded in 1913 having built less than a dozen houses. Peak was then renamed Ravenscar.
